Acne - Can I Get Relief From This Ugly, Hopeless and Gross Skin Condition? (Yes, You Can)

feel angry

Teenage years are fraught with enough problems and stressful situations without having to have an acne problem. All this accomplishes is making the teenager feel angry, ugly, hopeless and gross. This can be a reason that many teenagers spend so much time alone in their room. They do not want anyone to see them or are afraid of running into someone they know if they are in public.

The stress of even going to school when suffering from severe acne can make a teenager skip school or fake illness to stay home. The pressure on young people to be perfect and popular is extremely high.

The thought of being made fun of or being called names due to a skin condition is devastating to them. The typical teenager will try anything to rid themselves of the acne that plagues their life.

There are so many types of acne medicine advertised. Surely one should work but how do you know which one? The skin problems that cause so much suffering can be shattering to teenagers.

They can feel so disgusted with themselves they do not want to have their picture taken, spend time with friends, go on family outings or even look in the mirror. Much of their time is spent dreading the severe break-outs they experience.

Because so much emphasis is put on having the perfect body and the perfect skin, outbreaks such as pimples can make a teenager feel utterly dissatisfied with themselves. The search for a solution can become obsessive.

Advertisements on television and internet are part of the blame when it comes to the image that teenagers feel they need to live up to in order to be accepted. When they do not meet these expectations they feel angry, ugly, hopeless and gross.

The acne problems facing some teenagers and even into adulthood can be cause for severe depression. They may feel they are horribly disfigured and that no one could possibly want to be around them. Scars from break-outs can be another disfiguring aspect that can make them feel ugly. The need for help to keep this problem under control is a serious problem.

In order to keep this from causing further feelings of despair and helplessness a solution must be forthcoming. Feelings of 'why me?' are one of the stages the acne sufferer goes through. Just wanting to be normal and not have to worry about their break-outs constantly is constantly in their mind. It can become such an overpowering feeling of disgust with themselves that serious problems can ensue.

A solution for the debilitating problem of break-outs that causes the person to feel angry, ugly, hopeless and gross may be closer than you think. If this sounds like problems you are having with skin on your face or back, you owe it to yourself to stop at nothing to find the solution that will make you feel normal.
