The Bizarre Thing Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Did to Slim Down

baby food

Jennifer Aniston, now 41, has a body that won't quit. The gorgeous star hardly looks like she needs to slim down, but she apparently did shed some weight in advance of a new film role, that's shooting now, and she turned to a very strange diet method ...

That's Fit is reporting that the former Friends actress has resorted to the iffy so-called "baby food diet," which we've talked about here, to get (even more) svelte before her role in "Just Go With It." Sources say her weight-loss regimen included eating 14 daily portions of pureed baby food, at the recommendation of celeb trainer and supposed baby food diet fan Tracy Anderson.

I guess I feel ambivalent about Jen's weight loss--she's an actress and duty calls. But what does bug me about fad diets like this is that real women, who don't have film roles to prepare for, pick them up and run with them in unhealthy ways. Gals, we weren't meant to subsist on baby food. We are not babies. We are women. 'Nuf said!

Besides, pureed peas are gross!

Thoughts?

(Oh, before I forget, gals, if you haven't submitted your story and photo to us about what you love about your body, please do (here are the details!)! We'd love to hear, and you may be featured in the magazine!)

P.S. Loving this odd new health beverage! And, why are women under so much pressure to get skinny after having babies--more now than ever before!? Plus, Heidi Montag, Kate Hudson and others have me worried about the sudden popularity of breast implants ...
